NATURE PHOTOGRAPHY RESIDENCY

Grade 4 (30 students).

Artist: Paul Sundberg, Grand Marais, and guest photographer, Travis Novitsky, at Grand Portage Visiors Center.

Students learn use of a camera (provided), take pictures at Gooseberry Falls and Grand Portage. Visitor Center’s High Falls and exhibit a “best picture” at the public photography exhibit.

Cameras acquired through financial support of Cliffs Foundation and Rosemary & David Good Family Foundation.

Tuesday, May 7, 1:00-3:00 pm: Intro to Nature Photography - multi-purpose room
Thursday, May 9, 1:00-3:00 pm: Using Cameras
Tuesday, May 14, 11:00-3:15 pm: Bus trip to Gooseberry Fall State Park, bring lunch & beverage
Thursday, May 16, 7:45-3:15 pm: Bus trip to Grand Portage State Park, bring lunch & beverage
Thursday, May 23, 1:30-2:30 pm: William Kelly Auditorium, Final Presentation and Public Exhibit
